There’s something about shooting in snowy weather that makes me just feel totally… winter-y. Snow has yet to really hit in Virginia so I’m so thankful that my sweet (and GORGEOUS!) sister-in-law, Brittany mentioned that she and my niece had matching shirts and she really wanted some portraits of them together. I absolutely jumped on the opportunity and we got ready and ran out in to the snow for 10 minutes! We may or may not have had to bribe my niece with the promise of cake when we were done, but it doesn’t matter, does it? These two were so sweet and so very beautiful – it made my job easy! 

I just love the pure joy that radiated off of Brittany as her daughter hugged and kissed her, two sweet girls just enjoying the snowy weather and time together. I seriously could have watched them laugh together all day! There’s something magical about a mother and a daughter’s bond – especially when that daughter is the oldest child. Or maybe that’s just me saying that as an oldest child myself… either way, I don’t think I could have asked for two more beautiful models to face the cold weather with!
