There’s a big change happening today that I’m beyond excited to share with you all!! As I’ve worked the last few months on some major changes within my business, one thing has stayed true: I wanted these changes to make my clients’ experience better and our relationships stronger. I wanted to make sure I am giving them the best service I possibly can so that their love stories are captured forever to be shared. 

For a long time, I’ve wanted to offer print products for my clients because I believe in printing your photographs. But I was too afraid. I was afraid I’d lose the clients I’d have, that I wouldn’t make any profit to keep my business running, that it would take up too much time or that people simply wouldn’t work with me. But I’ve decided it’s time to face the fears because I truly believe in having the photographs we take in our lives displayed.

I believe there’s something truly magical about walking into someone’s home and seeing their life on the walls. You get to catch a glimpse into what matters to them. You get to see them when they’re happy and enjoying each other’s company-their biggest moments and sweetest embraces. And you–the client whose wall I’m talking about? You and your family get to see each other every day on the walls. Your children look up and see their mother in a family picture for once. Or see Dad holding them when they were the tiniest baby. Parents get to remember the way their children looked forever  – at every age. You get to look up and see a photograph that reminds you of the time you played in the river or you walked down the aisle to your spouse or when your sweet baby fit in your arms still.

There’s nothing wrong with digital images! Don’t get me wrong. We live in a world of technology. We share our lives through texts, facebook and instagram. We show the pictures of our children to their far off families, we share our big moments and our saddest days. But there is something special and powerful about the feeling of an album in your hand of your wedding day or your newborn baby girl’s first days on earth. There is something striking about seeing your toddler son hanging on the wall as he eats his first birthday cake. There is something moving about seeing your life all around you and not in the palm of your hand every second of the day.

This is why my business model is changing. This is why I am striving for a better experience: because you deserve to share your love stories.

With that being said, I am SO happy to announce that K. Dowler Photography is now offering print products in three collections starting June 2016!!! I will be offering custom made albums (leather or fabric covered), canvas prints and prints in standard sizes from a professional lab within these collections alongside the digital images you receive and also by themselves if you want to order separately outside a collection. One package will still offer only the digital images if you’re not interested in prints – I know that some people aren’t and I still want to help tell your stories!!
