I don’t know which is harder – admitting I’ve known Josh for six years now – which makes me feel old – or admitting that this session is over and my heart is broken because it was just SO PERFECT! I met Josh up at Blandy Experimental Farm in Winchester VA… one of my all time favorite places to have a session. Blandy is full of beautiful fields, flowers, trees and even some beautiful architecture for a change. You have to cross the Shenandoah River to get there (the way I go anyway) and I just feel so at home back in the mountains.
We pulled into the parking lot with plenty of time before sunset and immediately starting snapping away. Josh wasn’t too sure about pictures but he promised he’d try his best for me and I’ll tell you what, I think he did a GREAT job! I absolutely love getting to photograph musicians, actors and other creatives – knowing that my images are going to help them make their dreams come true. For Josh, this means a blossoming music career. And trust me, he is SO going to have one – he’s a phenomenal cellist. I’ve heard him play for years now. Be sure to keep your eye out for him!
Here’s a few of my favorites from our session Sunday! The evening was full of warm, glowing light and I couldn’t have loved these images more! Absolutely beautiful. I love them!! I hope you do too!
XOXO,
Kristina
