I’ll be totally honest. For the longest time, I had a major vendetta against Valentine’s Day. And I couldn’t really say why, other than it’s a silly holiday. Which I think we all know. But in years like this one, I think we could all use a little silliness and happiness. Plus I think it took me a long time to really understand that I LOVE LOVE. I love the way people are when they’re in love. I adore how happy it makes everyone around them… and it’s amazing to capture in a portrait. Every love story is beautiful and deserves to be told. So, I thought today, Valentine’s Day, was a great chance to share some of my favorite couples’ portraits with you!

This year, I’ve had the opportunity to photography some amazing families – husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, mothers, fathers, college sweethearts and young married couples. Every love story is beautiful. I absolutely believe that with my entire heart. Your story deserves to be told. I’m so happy I could be involved (in a tiny way) in the love stories I’ve presented on my blog over the last year. So, happy Valentine’s Day to all of my couples and my clients. I hope your day is filled with love everywhere you look and that you spread joy and smiles to those around you! Today especially, but also the other 364 days of the year.
