My Home Office

Personal

One of the most exciting parts about moving into our new house is the fact that for the first time EVER, I have an office. I have a space that is mine to work in, dream in, and just BE. I know it sounds a bit silly to be emotional about this, but I am. For so long, my work and my job has been something tucked into another space. I started from our couch, a corner in our living room, to our bedroom. And it’s my journey – and I LOVE that. But as I’ve gone full-time, worked to create boundaries in my life, and wanted more space that was my own, this home office is a literal dream come true.

I’m hardly an interior designer but I wanted to share a sneak peek into my office space. I’m really just aiming to keep it clean, organized, and functional. But I also wanted it to feel like me. I’ve hung artwork and my calendar. I’ve created a sitting space and a space for my craft projects, too. But, the most important part was just somewhere I could work and focus the way I so desperately need to on a limited schedule.

So, yes, maybe it is silly to celebrate a room that’s mine. But I’ve worked so hard to bring this to life and I’m just beyond grateful to have a space that’s completely my own to pour into my business, my clients, and my dreams.

What’s in my home office:
