I love Heather and Joe SO much because they were one of myweddings a few years ago. They’re so sweet and it’s very clear to see how much they love each other. Just over a year ago, they had their sweet baby girl, Summer and I have loved getting to watch her grow up (oh, the magic of Facebook!). They’re such a sweet family! Right before Christmas, Heather messaged me and asked if I could keep a secret while also helping her capture some photographs to share with their family and friends to announce that they were expecting another little cutie pie! Come see what we came up with! 

Our session was out in Winchester, VA at the State Arboreum (Blandy’s Experimental Farm) and it was the last weekend of December that was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! How is it possible that we were walking around outside for an hour with no coats on two days after Christmas?! Definitely not complaining here…

Summer wasn’t so sure about the whole picture thing, but we got some great shots of her telling the world that she is going to be a big sister come July! I am so excited for this family. The love between Heather and Joe is tangible in these shots and their sheer joy just makes me grin every time I look at these photos.
