Happy birthday to my best friend!! I can’t believe your big day is here again and I really can’t believe you’ve let me stick around for it yet another year! 8 years already?! 

You are truly one of the most beautiful people I know – inside and out, Danielle. You work so hard to be the best at what you do and your dedication is nothing short of inspiring! I feel so blessed to be able to have seen you become the woman that you are today.

Thank you for all of the late night talks when we should have been sleeping, for the wedding gigs, for baking dripping cupcakes and kick ass cookies, for our bakery dreams and for never leaving. Thank you for understanding me when no one else did (probably because they couldn’t understand my squeaking…) and for holding my hand when things got tough. Thank you for reading books with me and lending me things you never expect to actually get back. Thank you for loving our fur babies like your own and loving my husband because he is an extension of me.

I didn’t think I’d ever really have a friend like you – one who is strong but leans on me, one who is bright and changing the world, one who can just come sit with me and be content. A friend who knows what I need before I do. We amaze me constantly – I know when you’re with me that I don’t have to ask for anything – you help and it’s like we just know after all this time what we really need. I can’t tell you how wonderful that is. You are the macaroni to my cheese and the fiddler to my roof. Thanks for being the best friend I could ever have asked for.
