This weekend has been one for the books, for sure! We got to see so many people we love, a team we love and kept looking for a house we love. Our three day weekend was jam packed with a lot to do, but it was also packed with lots of fun and love.
Our weekend really started Friday night (I mean, whose doesn’t?!). We were able to pull off a surprise for Ryan’s best friend (do guys have best friends??) for his birthday! It was awesome! Dinner with Chris and Kristin was a lot of fun and seeing how surprised Chris was when he saw Ryan was the best part. We were true adults–a delicious dinner and cake provided by Kristin and then we all snuggled in to watch ‘Making a Murderer’. I’m so glad we’re not the only ones obsessed with it. Unfortunately, we did finish the series this weekend and Ryan and I have lots of feelings over it now… What did you think of it (no spoilers on the details for anyone else, please!).
Saturday, we were able to catch breakfast with two of my favorite people that we hadn’t seen since the wedding! How crazy is that. They are FANTSTIC cooks so breakfast was wonderful! Amazingly enough, I didn’t take pictures there or at Chris’ surprise get together. Seriously, need to get better at this… But, then Saturday afternoon, Ryan finally got one of his Christmas presents! We went to UMD to see Ohio State play basketball! We lost and were surrounded by wonderful UMD fans, but it was awesome to get to be in the arena. Let me tell you, live sports are so much better than the ones on TV! Aren’t you proud of me, honey? 🙂 We look so happy! It was a lot of fun getting to do something that I know Ryan really loved.
The rest of the weekend we spent with my parents! We took them to one of our favorite wineries, Grey Horse Vineyards! We enjoyed a tasting, meeting the owner and some lovely snacks for lunch. We also spent so much time this weekend seeing houses. We definitely have a long way to go to find the one we love, but we will!
Like I said, busy three day weekend but absolutely in the best way! How did you spend your long weekend?
XOXO,
Kristina
