Well, this weekend was definitely one for the books! It went by quickly – which I can never tell if that’s a good thing or not for me personally, but either way, it went! Can you all believe February started this morning?! 2016 is already FLYING by! February is such a fun month for my family – we have a big birthday bash because my sister, aunt and grandfather were all born within the same week (in different years…) of each other and this year, February is FULL of theatre (YAY!). But, anyway… back to this weekend…
I went down to Harrisonburg with my mom on Saturday. We started by going to see my cousin, Ashley at JMU! She’s doing so well and looks like a super happy wonderful college student, so that makes my heart very happy. Afterwards, I went to photograph a calligraphy workshop hosted by It’s Your Day (Jessica) featuring Maghon of All She Wrote Notes at Blakemore’s Flowers + Boutique – which was amazing (more on that Wednesday)! I seriously want to learn calligraphy so badly now. Maybe after we’re in the new house, I will! Stay tuned to find out, ha!
I was bad this weekend and didn’t take too many pictures beyond the workshop, so I’ll leave these pretty flowers here as a sneak peek into Wednesday’s post and a sweet way to celebrate the beginning of February!
XOXO,
Kristina
