Valentine’s Day has never been a huge favorite of mine. But, what I do love is family time! This weekend we got to spend time celebrating three of my family members while seeing one of my favorite shows on stage, eat lots of yummy food and celebrate a special day with my husband and our friends! Isn’t that what this holiday is all about anyway? 

We headed down to CNU on Saturday morning with my grandparents and parents to celebrate my sister, my Pappy and my aunt’s birthdays. Currently, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is touring down in Newport News so we got to see it on stage! Always one of my favorites! I, of course, wore my ‘Jersey Boys’ shirt to honor last year’s trip down! It was definitely nice to get away for the weekend–we both needed it.

And aren’t these little towel swans the cutest?! We were so surprised to see them at the hotel!! 

We got home Sunday to celebrate Valentine’s Day with two of our friends and Ryan surprised me with some lovely flowers. It was  nice to spend Valentine’s Day weekend with all the people that mean the most to us! 🙂 And now, we’ve just finished enjoying a snow day (although it was on a federal holiday so we were both off work anyway!). It’s been a lovely and relaxing weekend – something we’re definitely looking forward to more of! How did you spend this holiday?
