I can’t believe another weekend has come + gone! It always seems like they go too fast. I know we have a bad tendency to cram too much into a weekend, but who doesn’t really?! This weekend was extra special for a lot of reasons… 

This weekend, my sister + her boyfriend came to stay with us. It was their first real visit to the house to stay and that was AWESOME! We went to see my cousin in his school musical, I had my first concert in two years with the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra (who I haven’t played with in almost 6 years now) and had a Mommy + Me photo session with Alannah and Noah (coming to the blog this week!)! Saturday night, we also go to celebrate my next door neighbor, Kaila and her new husband, Phil! It was SO much fun to go as a big family to the wedding, be a part of their special day and celebrate with our neighborhood. We definitely got the luckiest deal of anyone I know when it comes to where we grew up and it’s such a nice feeling to celebrate with them, no matter how long it’s really been since we were all together. Our neighborhood is two little streets but there’s so many memories and that’s all I could think about when Kaila went down the aisle, her dad toasted the neighborhood and we all held hands dancing to “Mustang Sally”. Most people I know don’t have something that special to return to years later. It’s really amazing. (Congrats again, Kaila + Phil! It was a wonderful wedding!). 

We also managed to squeeze in family photos before the wedding and some shots of our MG + Shelby!! PHEW! I have so much to get done this coming week but having such an awesome weekend is great motivation!!! There’s lots of great blogs coming this week so don’t miss them! I swear Shelby loves me despite how awkward she looks in the photo of us. I wish we had been able to get the boys outside with us but they’re still adjusting to Shelby + nice clothes/cat hair aren’t always a good combination… That photo is coming, I promise!
