Ah, Monday. You’re back. I guess I hoped that somehow we might get an extra day in the weekend this time, but alas – I was wrong. 🙁 The weekends really go by so fast (or is that just me?!). I usually use these Dowler Days posts to talk about what we did over the weekend or what’s new in our lives, but I think I want to add a new twist to them! I want to take these posts to tell you about a few things I’m grateful for, looking forward to or just plain out happy about in our lives. I hope you won’t mind too much + I hope you’ll tell me what you’re grateful for or happy about! I want to be here for you – cheering you on + celebrating your wonderful moments!
This week, I’m mostly grateful for a few things:
– Getting to catch up with my friends from college + high school who I miss dearly. My friends are family to me and when it’s been awhile since we’ve talked, I can guarantee I’ve missed them so much! (For all of you reading this, let’s talk! I miss you!!)
-Ryan and I got to drive up to PA and be at my great Aunt + Uncle’s 40th wedding anniversary celebration! How lucky we are to have such a wonderful family – a loving family – and to be able to be with them like this. It’s awesome to see my (second) cousins after so long! It’s like we were never apart. I’m also doubly thankful for my husband who puts up with these crazy weekends back to back.
-Being able to help my parents as they make a huge transition in their lives. I know it’s a big undertaking for them and I’m relieved we are able to help take some of the stress off their backs. I also think every moment we spend with them makes our relationships stronger.
and finally,
-Getting to spend my evenings working this business while watching the Olympics and bringing joy to my clients. I can’t wait to announce more details this week about some fall minis and also share some beautiful images from my newborn session last week with you! I absolutely love what I do thanks to all of you wonderful people out there!
(Aren’t these flowers from the anniversary party just beautiful?!)
What’s going on in your life? I want to hear!
XOXO,
Kristina
