Meet the Cummings Family! A few months ago, I saw one of my former professors posting about how the Concern Hotline in Winchester, VA was having a silent auction to raise money for their organization. Having worked for the Concern Hotline, I knew what a great organization it is and immediately contacted him about donating a portrait session. Luckily, they accepted my donation – and that’s how I met the Cummings Family! They were the winners of the portrait session from the auction.
We settled on a late October date and Ryan, David and I packed up the car and headed up to Winchester! Laura and I thought Blandy Experimental Farm would be a great spot for their portrait session and it really was!! All of the fall colors were coming in beautifully – and we had a blast finding new places for their portraits. I was so thrilled to see the colors Laura chose for her family when they arrived – navy and gold, what’s more fall than that? The Cumming family has had other sessions there so we were able to really focus on the feeling they wanted in their session. Laura and her family were absolutely a joy to work with. Although the kids were back and forth on wanting their portraits done, we managed to get some great family shots! Here are a few of my favorites!
