Getting to celebrate someone’s senior year of college is always such a special time for me as a photographer – but getting to celebrate the graduation of someone you have watched grow up is even more incredible! Congratulations Alaina, I’m SO proud of you!!!
I’ve known Alaina for a long time – we were Girl Scouts together when we were growing up and I watched her become the amazing young woman she is. I can’t believe she’s graduating from George Mason University with her degree in English in just a few short weeks!! She’s absolutely the sweetest girl, with such a wonderful laugh and sense of humor – and we had a blast during our session! We spent the evening wandering around George Mason University and grabbing her senior portraits.
If you haven’t been to George Mason, take the time to walk around. The campus is gorgeous – a beautiful lake, brick buildings, gardens, bridges and walkways. I absolutely love the way it’s laid out. We had so many PERFECT locations to choose from!
We, of course, had to grab some shots with Mason himself! The other neat thing was that when freshmen come into GMU, they sign their name on their Class sign. Alaina found her name on the sign and we definitely made sure to capture how exciting it is now to find her name and celebrate these last four years!
Senior portraits are a great to chance to celebrate your accomplishments and how far you’ve come! I love being able to capture this time in your life with your cutest outfits, cap and gown and all over your college campus. Interested? Let’s chat! There’s still time to grab your portraits before graduation. If you’re a junior, even better!
xoxo
