I honestly cannot believe that 2016 is over! Well, almost anyway. It has been such an amazing first year back in business and I can’t thank my fantastic clients enough! You all are the most beautiful people I’ve had the honor of knowing and getting to celebrate so many special moments – engagements, weddings, baby bumps, little nuggets, mother and fatherhood, graduations and being in love – with each of you. You all hold such a special place in my heart and I am overwhelmed when I look back at this year. 

Putting all these images together makes me so happy – happy to see the love I’ve been able to capture, the growth I’ve made in my images + style (even if it’s not perfect yet!) and these images make me so happy for the year ahead of me. This year I got to shoot in Ohio, in Newport News, Yorktown, Silver Spring, Fredericksburg, Georgetown, Frederick MD, the Outer Banks, Front Royal, Alexandria + Stafford. I second shot two weddings with photographers I’d never met before. I attended two workshops and my first styled shoot (coming to the blog in 2017!). I look forward to getting to travel even more throughout 2017 and all the adventures ahead for each of you!  I truly believe 2017 is going to be even better but for now, let’s not move too fast and just celebrate what a year it’s been together!
