There’s nothing quite like Georgetown in the spring! The trees are blooming, the architecture almost seems to come to life and the town feels even more quaint than it already is. After rescheduling our session at least 4 times, I’m SO happy that I finally got to spend the morning with Melanie, Romel, Lily & Joseph in Georgetown! This family is so fun of laughter and energy – I feel really lucky to have been able to capture this special time for them!

We scheduled the session for the morning – trying to beat the rain that was coming that weekend. Thankfully, it paid off – even if Lily & Joseph weren’t too sure about the whole picture thing! I have to say a huge thank you to Melanie & Romel for being the most relaxed parents I think I’ve ever worked with! They let me roll with the punches and follow the kids as they relaxed, enjoyed their lollipops and Curious George! A special thanks to my hubby  for coming along and keeping an eye on them so I could grab some beautiful portraits of Melanie & Romel!

These two lovebirds are getting married this fall!! Romel made my job so easy because he just kept Melanie laughing the whole time. Obviously the key to this relationship is having fun! I hope you love their Georgetown session as much as I do! I can’t wait to work with this truly special family again!
