Last week, I was so lucky to get to travel with my best friend, Danielle, down to the Outer Banks. She accompanied me and put up with my crazy behind while I was in the OBX for Amanda Hedgepeth’s Salt Air Motherhood Experience (more to come on that)! As a thank you (and because I don’t know how anyone can go to the beach and NOT take pictures), I grabbed a few portraits of her on the beach the second night we were there. She is absolutely beautiful – both inside and out – and I’m beyond thankful for her friendship every single day I get to know her. The light was perfect – glowing – and full of the last light of summer (well, almost). I can’t imagine not using my camera here in the Outer Banks. It’s just too beautiful!

Danielle, seriously. You’re gorgeous. Thank you for putting up with me chasing the light and running all over the sand. Thank you for climbing through plants for me and sitting in wet sand. Thank you for loving me even when I don’t know how to love myself. You’re the best friend I could have ever imagined having in this lifetime. You know me better than I know myself and I will never stop being thankful for the connection we have. Thank you for constantly supporting my crazy dreams and being there with me through all of the rough stages (no really, you should see beach portraits I did of her a few years ago…). I look forward to so many more trips in our future, but for now, here’s a few of my favorites from our session! 

Seriously though. She’s a model.
