Awhile back, I introduced two of our sweet fur babies here on the blog: TOC and Grey Cat. If you follow me on social media, you know that we have one other bigger fur baby too, Shelby! She’s such a sweetheart and I’m so excited to finally share the last piece of our little family with you!

Shelby came to us from family in March. I can’t believe how long ago that really wasn’t because she feels like she’s been with us forever! To be fair, she has known Ryan her whole life so I’m sure in her mind, there’s nothing strange about living with him now. Anyway! She’s the perfect little addition to our family here and the boys are slowly figuring out how to let her be part of their world – TOC even lets Shelby lick him occasionally!! How sweet is that?!

Shelby is SO full of energy and loves everyone – no, I’m not kidding. She really does. Especially my dad who gives her one too many dog bones… She will jump on you to say hello, lay on you and just love you with all of her little canine heart. Shelby is getting better at running with me and has fits when I run out of her sight – so we’ve learned to manage how our runs go a little better as a family. She loves eating everything and hasn’t quite figured out what mommy is doing when she works out – but always stays really close and tries to get in the way.

She has the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen and her fur is insane –we feel so bad for her in this heat, no wonder she sleeps on the air vents! But she’s sweet and she makes our home complete! The cats are figuring out what it means to have a big sister – she just wants to play with them but she’s larger. They’re letting her chase them a little bit, TOC will get close and Grey Cat has started to flop down next to her – while still keeping his distance. She really loves them. Or at least, that’s how I look at it!

Shelby is our sweet girl and I’m so thankful she’s part of our little family. We love you, Shelbers!
