This weekend was so special because we helped surprise my brother-in-law, Jeff for his 30^th birthday! We’ve been helping plan this surprise party for a few months now with his wife, Brittany  and the last few weeks have been crazy making sure all the details were falling into place but WE DID IT! Brittany, you were truly amazing in pulling this off!!!  Happy birthday Jeff!

Ryan and I headed up to Ohio on Friday after work to make sure we arrived in plenty of time and boy, was it hard to make sure Jeff wouldn’t want to come over and see us! To keep the party under wrap, we took one for the team and went out boating Saturday morning with Jeff, Brittany and the kids while everyone else was arriving and finishing getting food together. The boating was SO much fun! It was great to see the kids light up on the water!!! 

A few hours later we headed to my in laws’ and surprised Jeff! He thought we were going to a local brewery to celebrate with a few friends. Instead, his friends, family and family friends were all gathered to celebrate him at a big picnic at his parents’ house – complete with amazing food and way too much fun!!! What a great afternoon celebrating someone who is so very special to us all!

Jeff, I hope your birthday was wonderful. We are so happy and lucky to call you our family! I have personally loved seeing our relationship grow and I am beyond blessed to call you my brother – you are so caring and it’s amazing the love you have for your family! Enjoy your 30’s, old man! J

Oh, and my niece started calling me Aunt KK and Ryan “Ry Ry”! Can you say melted hearts?! I hope your weekend was full of fun and lots of melting heart moments!
