I can’t believe July is almost halfway over! It feels like the summer just began… I know I’ve been a little behind on the blog these past few weeks but things have just been going non-stop. And truthfully? That’s okay. I’m trying to remember to hold myself to a standard of grace, not perfection. Anyway. I’m here! A new Dowler Days is here (Even if it is a little boring!). Ryan and I are SO close to vacation and even though we aren’t quite in vacation mode, we’re getting there. 

This weekend we spent time at home, with the boys and Shelby, I finished my Nancy Drew puzzle, we got our anniversary pictures taken by Rosie Omar Photography, enjoyed a dinner at Wilkerson’s in Colonial Beach and I spent time with Ashley + Ian for their picture session!

WHEW. A lot of stuff going on but plenty of time just resting at home. What a great way to start getting ready for vacay! What did your weekend entail? I can’t wait to hear all about it!
