Writing this blog post is absolutely surreal. I can’t believe MY baby sister is graduating from college!! I’m so proud of all she’s accomplished and the young lady she’s become, but that’s for another post! This post is a chance to share some of the beautiful senior pictures that we took this past weekend. Christopher Newport University is probably one of my favorite places to take pictures now – I wish we’d discovered this before she was graduating!! Congratulations, Megan!! 

So, let me tell you about this session. She and I had texted back and forth leading up to his visit, trying to plan out all the things were going to cram into the day and a half I was there. We decided on a sunrise session for her senior portraits before her last two final exams. Here’s a secret for you all who don’t live in Newport News: THERE’S HARDLY EVER SUCH A THING LIKE A SUNRISE  there because it’s always rainy and windy! So, low and behold, it was gloomy and even started raining Friday morning. Despite that, I think Megan looks absolutely radiant! Doesn’t she look super excited to be graduating?!?! I can’t wait for her ceremony in a few weeks!!
